In 1968, Hyde Held & Blackburn was formed as a commercial Design House by three partners employing only 7 persons. In 1972, Eugene Hyde took full control of the company and two 1 colour printing presses were added to the mix. In 1994 the name was changed to Pear Tree Press to reflect a new vision for the future. In 1997, peartreeXpress (ptX) was formed in response to the growing request for digital printing.
Fast forward to 2016, with the support of our now 40 employees and their families, we have again made the change to trade solely as peartreeXpress. We have continued to create a platform of stability, quality, equity and innovation for our customers and our employees led by Duncan Hyde, Adam Hyde and their management team.
Having the right team coupled with the best printing machinery we have been able to consistently deliver value to our customers and employees.
We recognize four salient points for enduring customer satisfaction and retention.
Sounds simple yes but its simply not done by many. We understand clearly that customers will buy only when they trust you , just as customers will always go with the lowest price given all things are equal.
We leverage this knowledge for the benefit of the customer by first trusting the customer and ensuring that all things are not equal. We aim to provide remarkable service by removing as many irritants from the system as possible. Focus not on the sale but on the required results of the customer even if it means there is no sale this time around as a different communication platform may bring the required results.
